Dirty Movie - Fantasy Sex Action DVD

Dirty Movie has a decent plot and there are some good sex scenes. What made Dirty Movie stand out for me was the way it was shot. There was some borderline artistic shooting done by Barry Wood and his crew that really helped to sell me the story and make the scenes visually interesting.

Evan Stone plays Eddie. Eddie's grandpa dies and leaves Eddie a house. After Grandpa's funeral Eddie and his girlfriend (Hillary Scott ) check out the house that his grandfather ever lived in. Eddie and Hilary checkout his grandfather's basement where they discover a film projector with grandpa's Dirty Movie from the 1920’s. The Dirty Movie features Katie Morgan and Sammie Rhodes making out. Eddie is immediately enthralled by the Dirty Movie and only breaks out of the kind of trance it puts him in after Hillary yells at him for lusting after Katie Morgan in the movie, while she is right in front of him.

After Eddie snaps out of his trance he and Hillary start in on the sex. Its a good scene. Hillary does a little striptease to start and there seemed to be some good chemistry between the two of them. The way this scene was shot seemed different from most other movies I've seen. There seemed to be less focus on the extreme close-up and more on just interesting shots. For example, the scene begins with a bit of 69 with Stone being shot eating Hillary's pussy from between the spokes of the film reel. They alternate from shooting the scene through the reel's spokes to other angles, that really helped make the scene visually interesting and not seem like just the same as other movies.

After their done Hillary leaves Eddie alone in the house for the weekend. Eddie seems eerily drawn to the film projector in his grandfather's basement. He flips it on again and picks up watching the Katie Morgan and Sammie Rhodes scene again. Hillary call him on his cell, and seems very pissed that he's watching the film again. He ignores her, hangs up and dozes off. Then we transition to the girl on girl scene. On Stone's projection screen it's a grainy old film. We get to watch it in full glorious color. I think I would have preferred it stay grainy and worn looking. It might have distracted me from the rather awkward looking groping, fumbling nature of the scene. Now groping and being a bit awkward is fine and has it's merits, but this was just not sexy. The costumes were cool, the set was kind of interesting, and the women were lovely, but they had nothing between them. It had this kind of slam bang let's get this over with vibe that just didn't work for me.

The Dirty Movie film reel runs out, so Eddie decides to take Grandpa's car to track down who made the movie. He shows up at a porn shoot and meets Dick Handy, the third (Kurt Lockwood), whose grandfather shot the film Eddie is now obsessed with. Dick tells Eddie the movie was made by his own grandfather Dick Handy, the first, and it has a bit of a weird history to it. Eddie leaves and then, we get to watch the obnoxious Dick Handy, the third fuck Samantha Ryan after firing the talent for not being able to get it up. I'm kind of ambivalent about the scene

Stone dozes off on Grandpa's couch again after his trip to the porn shoot and he dreams of the mystery woman, Katie Morgan, seducing him in front of a projection screen, which is projecting the scene we're watching but from a slightly different angle. Seeing the scene projected behind the projected version was kind of cool, the whole look and feel of the scene is great, but again Katie Morgan seems a bit rushed. She keeps on at least some of her sexy 20s outfit with its long string of pearls, and long white gloves for most of the scene. The setting and her costume help keep me in turned on and enjoying the scene despite her performance.

After that scene Eddie enters the Dirty Movie and encounters his grandfather and Dick Handy, the first inside the movie with the 8mm temptress, Katie Morgan. Then, Eddie's friends Tommy Gunn and Sandra Romain show up and have sex on his couch after explaining that no one has seen him for weeks. They manage to avoid watching the 8mm porn and get straight to the sex. Another less than super scene proceeds from there. It's not a horrible scene, and Romain is beautiful but the scene just doesn't work for me and it lacks some of the more interesting visuals of the previous scene. After their scene they flip on the projector and the movie ends.

Overall Dirty Movie was worth a watch. The camera work was good and it was a visually interesting film with a plot that tied the different sex scenes together in a way that seemed logical. Hillary Scott and Evan Stone opened Dirty Movie really wel. The spitting and gagging blowjob happened a few times, and that really doesn't work for me. I think that it didn't seem to happen as much in the Hillary Scott scene is one of the reasons I preferred it. Also, Katie Morgan in particular fell a bit flat for me in both her scenes with Sammie Rhodes and Evan Stone. Even with how uninteresting I think a lot of the scenes ended up being, the way they were shot was really cool and I'd recommend the movie for that reason alone. I give Dirty Movie four out of five kleenexes for strokeability.
